    Sveta Options / Replacement

I've long sinced stopped using dbPoweramp myself - mostly because I use Linux exclusively - but I was a very happy paying customer (<edited>) and continue to recommend it to others.

I also use Rockbox on my players, and a recent thread on their forums has discussed the lack of tools for simple synchronisation of multiple devices:

I remember Sveta as being particularly good at this allowing you to set up different profiles to transfer to connected players or attached diretory structures and synch / randomise / transcode on the fly if needed.

But it looks like it's fallen out of favour.

I'd still suggest it as an excellent synchronisation tool for Win users, but it's tricky to recommend at $30 when there's no clear development path or apparent support.

    Any plans?

Sveta is not going to be developed any more. Sorry.

Hi Spoon, thanks for the response.

Personally I think that the ability to synch to a directory in some location would see the majority of needs addressed for the particular audience I had in mind.

If Sveta has reached the end of it's life, is there any chance it could drop to a highly discounted level ($5 or so?) or turn into donationware or something similar?

I have to say that I've yet to see a solution with the same elegance, even 5+ years down the line.

There is a sync application in development - called AudioInSync, but it is a way off.
