Failure Adding Fade to 30 sec MP3 Tracks.

    Good Morning Everyone,

This is my first post, and I cannot see it as an existing query.

I am using dBpoweramp Music Converter to take a 30 second sample
    from MP3 album tracks.

When I try to convert these tracks using the fader, the majority of
12 tracks per album, fail in conversion?

Any ideas, all help gratefully received.

      Good Afternoon Spoon,

      Thank you for the reply.

          Hi Spoon,

Not that I am ware of, as I have a licences to download them with DRM.

The files do not have read only selected against their properties, plus when I have to reconvert the files, they do all work the second time around, after the initial error?

Virus (or other program) checker keeping the files open briefly?

              Hi Spoon,

Not that I'm aware of, but I'm going to run a test this evening on my home PC,
and see if I can create the same issue.

I will feedback / update you tomorrow.

              Thanks for your time.

                Good Afternoon Spoon,

Following on from your feedback yesterday, I have tested a few new music albums today, and no issues.

It appears that it may have been something on my network that was causing the files to stay open?

I'm now using the software via my computer desktop C: rather than through my network, and it has worked first time very time.

                Thank you for your efforts.

                Regards,

                Pete Savage

                  Good Afternoon Spoon,

After quite a few months my company are once again looking to
utilise DbPower Amp for creating 30 sec music clips with fade, from music albums.

DB Power Amp Version Release 13.2

At the moment the clips are not picking up the numbering scheme from the mail tracks, ie. album track 1 / Clip - 01 beyonce_C

The clips are also sometimes created with no track number ref, and in some cases the software tries to completely overwrite the main tracks rather than create clips?

If it is trying to overwrite then your naming scheme must be giving the possibility of the same filename (perhaps if the tags are not recognized 100%).

Please clarify which numbering scheme it is not picking up?
