Lifetime Metadata Service?

I read somewhere in the forums that the "reference" version includes a lifetime metadata subscription. However the page to purchase dbPoweramp only mentions one year. Which of the two is correct?
If I purchase the reference version will it include upgrades to future versions?

R14 Reference will feature lifetime metadata, currently R14 is not released so is not available.

If I buy a dBpa reference R13 license with the Family Pack today, will I get a free upgrade to R14? Or is there some option for purchasing a R13+R14 Upgrade pack?

There is no current way of obtaining R14, only upon the full release of R14 will this change.

But just to be sure: When I purchase a R13 license now, I will have to pay the full price for a new R14 license in a few weeks/months if I want the new features?

There would be an upgrade cost, previously R12 >> R13 was $12, but that is not to say it would be this for r14 (as there are costs of the metadata involved).

Same thing here. I want to buy the Family pack reference thing, but of course I'm not willing to pay for an expensive upgrade again in just a few weeks.

Maybe you could let people pre-order R14 and they could use R13.5 until the release?! Or add a "R13.5-to-R14 upgrade feature" for those who order R13.5 now so that they only have to pay the difference in price when R14 is released.
