I'm setting up an automated system to rip a large collection. I have the hardware to load/unload the drive unattended; I need a ripping program (CD info lookup, MP3 encoding, folder/file naming) that I can control via API or command line interface. My code just needs to initiate ripping and know when it's complete and the disc can be unloaded.
I've spent a lot of time futilely downloading and installling wonderful free stuff that didn't work or wasn't really controllable. I'm happy to pay a small amount for a program that will do what I need but can't spend more time plowing through help files and forums only to hit a wall.
So If someone here can just point me to the appropriate product, I'm ready to buy it. Just something that can be told, via software or shell command, to look up a CD in a driver, rip it to a folder, and tell me when it's done.
Thanks!
