I have received many 384 Kbps bit rate MP3 [COLOR="Red"]'Free Format' [/COLOR] files. I would like to convert to a more usable format MP3 (Lame) VBR [estimated bit rate: 190kbps] stereo. When I try using dBpoweramp Music Converter I get an error message:
"Error valid mp3 frame not found. [clsmpeg123::Init]"
Can dBpoweramp do this for me? And if so how?
If not can you suggest any other method OR approch? I have not been able to learn much of about this encoding except that it is not suported by most Audio players.
