In the dbpoweramp program under wave-mp3 - setting. In the demo version it change the bit rate to 32 bits and reduced the file size went converting a mp 3 to a wave file. With the register version no matter which bit rate I put it on, it coverts everything to 1411 kpbs under bits. The trial version I had on my machine worked great, this one no. I have uninstall it 5 or more times, I have cleared the reg. even in safe mode of all reference to dbpoweramp and also Illustrate. This program still does not work. Does someone have a answerer? Re: Fails to covert to 32 bits
This does not solve my problem.
That coverts to 1141 also at 160 kbps also and sound like a old platic record that has been sped up. With the demo program I could covert to 32 kbps and get a smaller file. I was using windows vista then and I am still using it. Thanks WhitneyComment

Re: Fails to covert to 32 bits
How can it convert to 1141 and 160? there can only be 1 bit rate...
You can select 32 kbps by moving the slider to the left. Also in dBpoweramp Configuration >> Music Converter enable the Professional frequency conversion option.Comment

Re: Fails to covert to 32 bits
I went into advanve and change it to 24 khz and I can now get music thst sounds right and a small file size I can use this in my emails.
But if I leave advance - as source, if I move the slider to 8-it gives me 705 / 16-gives me 705 / 24-gives me 705 / 32-gives me 1141 / 40-givesme 1141 / 48-gives me 1411 / 56-gives me 1141 / 64-gives me 1141 / 80-gives me / 96-gives me 1141 / 112-gives me 1141 / 128-gives me 1141 / 144-gives me 705 / 160-gives me 1141 but sound normal / 192-gives me 1141 sounds normal.
Hope this helps in telling me why it does not show what I select. Thanks WhitneyComment
