I am slowly becoming overwhelmed with my new technology.
I have bought an HP WHS, and have Sonos on order, and my pc already has most of my CD collection ripped by itunes (AAC) to various quality levels to play on ipods.
I want to rip all of my CDs to lossless (FLAC) or WAV, and am considering if I should simultaneously re-create all my AAC files, and will certainly want to do both for new CDs
I live outside the US and therefore cannot buy ripNAS essentials with the TEAC drive.
Should I buy ripNAS essentials for my WHS, or should I buy dbpoweramp for the PC and just store the results on the WHS?
I believe that DBPA will do simultaneous conversions, but don't know if RNE will do the same. I also believe that DBPA makes use of accurate rip regardless of the source drive. Are there any other considerations?
Thanks in advance for your opinions
