Just got tonight Asset is a UPnP / DLNA server for my Hp home server

I'm following the steps below to set up Internet Radio [RadioTime] in Asset

Internet Radio [RadioTime] enables browsing of popular radio stations by Genre or location, a favourite list of stations can be created on the web site www.radiotime.com and assigned to a user name which can be entered into Asset Configuration (see later) to allow access to these favourite stations.

Where do I need to enter user name I have created in radio time to get my favorite radio stations?

Sorry I'm new in this area.
This is what I have done

Open Asset Configuration >> Advanced Settings Edit and under the tree I can see internet radio

I have selected it and I added a new container as a child of internet radio with the name of my user I created in Radio time website with all my presets

Is that correct?

Will I get this internet radio in my WMS browser page? I'm not really sure about where I get this internet radio and how it works

It is not in that section but rather to the right under the General Settings list.

Ok I have added my user name in General Settings list besides inernet radio.

Where in the server I can see radiotime to play it?

Is radiotime supposed to display in my HP server website?

I have a HP ex490 home server.

I got the RadioTime to play in one of my client computer by downloading radiotime installer for MC. I can play my presets in MC

You need a UPnP control point and UPnP renderer (player).

Can you suggest any UPnP control point and UPnP renderer (player) that work with HP smart home server?

The control point would not run on the WHS box, rather another computer, or even ipod touch. The renderer also would be a playback device and not normally the WHS machine.

So basically what you are saying is that a control point runs on another computer within my network or an ipod touch

Do I need to install any of these control points below on the computer?

(UPnP Control Point API or http://www.cidero.com/downloads.html)


The renderer would be a stream player like LIN DS or XBOX 360

For a player (renderer) you can convert your PC to one:

The XBox has a control point + renderer all in one.

Something like PlugPlayer on the iPod Touch / iPhone is a control point, there are some for the PC, we will be releasing one in the next few months to beta.
