    sound cards

well now im up and running with many flac files to play.. its time i updated my soundcard.. but before i do... i need someone (hopefully) to lead me in the right direction..
basically i want a good quality s/c with "Stereo Mix" or "what you hear"..

iv trawled the net for weeks ..and its blatantly obvious that manufacturers are not saying if they have this function..
there seems to be quite a rant over this ..everywhere i look.. people are complaining.. and asking the same questions as myself..
i.e. one person says that a particular s/c has this function.. in another thread another person says it doesnt.. how confusing..
so would any one have some concrete info please... its doesnt matter how expensive it is.. as long as it does the required job.. tia...

    Re: sound cards

Creative Labs X-Fi's finally got the "What U Hear" back on Vista, which is what I'm currently using. Also, Asus has their Xonar series, which I have no personal experience with.
