    The Ultimate 'Compilation' ? Unintended!

Hi. This is not a complaint, as I find it interesting how it can have happened!

I have a CD Drive, and a DVD drive. DMC has just managed to access the on-line meta data [all sources], and come back with [seemingly] the data from one drive, and the Audio from the other ! It took me a while to work out what had happened, although i still can't explain why.

The upshot of it all is that tracks fadeout and another takes over, almost seamlessly, whilst having the name from another CD altogether. And then, unexpectedly, track 15 [out of 26] is as it should be. Correct Name, Audio, timing, and data displayed. But then back to the old inexplicable [ for me!]mix! Or should I say 'Mix-up' !

So I really don't know if this is a Database on-line Source problem, a DMC problem, or my PC problem.

I would send you the folder in question, but I don't think I'm permitted to send 'attachments'.

Anyway...if anyone has an idea how this can happen, I'd be grateful to hear it!
More out of interest than anything else. I know it could be categorised under the 'These things happen' category, but i would hope to be a bit more scientific than that!!

It is likely the TOC from one drive was used for the other, perhaps the drive change event was not picked up on your system.

Well.....maybe. But the correct muisic files from the CD were displayed on-screen, and the correct Filenames downloaded from your program into the right folder.

It's just that the Audio files copied over were from the wrong drive. With the exception of the one track, about half-way through! So I don't suppose I'll get to the bottom of it.

Just thought I'd let you know. By the way.....is there a place to 'Select All' or 'De-select All' for the Tracks ? I can't find one, but it would be handy if you only want to do one or two tracks.
      Thanks.
