    File naming confusion

    Hello,

When adding (or attempting to add) the [encoder] option under the Set File Naming feature, it reads "mp3(Lame)" yet the final product indicates that my files have in fact been ripped into the desired .flac format. Any thoughts on why this might be or does this make sense?

    For example, a setting of:

    [track]-[title]- [artist] ([album])[encoder]

on a given track produces the following

02-Simple Twist of Fate- Dylan (Blood on the Tracks) mp3 (Lame)

even though the track appears as a .flac file in my music folder.

I am new to this so be gentle. :komisch9:

Are you ripping to just FLAC or are you using the Multi-Encoder?

Ripping just to FLAC or so that is my intention. And it does seem to be working as the 'Audio Properties' on a given file read:

Encoder FLAC reference lib FLAC ...

      Type flac File [.flac]

Perhaps it is just a "bug" in the encoder naming options? I have also noticed that it takes at least two tries for the track number [track] option to appear correctly in the Set File Naming Feature when checking 'Current CD Meta.' The first attempt always ends with an () as opposed to an actual track number.
