questions re dB on new pc

I went from Me to Vista after 8 yrs, had bought dB on 1/15/03. I installed from the dl link for registered users, but, afterward, there is a "register dBpoweramp" as a sub-item on my start menu for some reason, although the configuration shows my version is registered. I could, of course, delete it from the start menu, but I am wondering if there is some registry key somewhere that needs to be deleted also.

I usually just 'hide' the start menu shortcut. It gets installed whether you have the registered version or not.
