Can't access AMG, MusicBrainz and freedb

I've just downloaded the full working copy of dbaudioamp after using the demo version. whlie I was using the demo accessing AMG, MusicBrainz and freedb worked fine, as soon as it ran out I purchased the full version plus the licence to AMG, MusicBrainz and freedb. Heres my problem, now I cannot access AMG, MusicBrainz and freedb, only GD3 works on occasion
and even then it finds the work information.
I asked mr Spoon what could be the problem, he replied that my pc was probably blocking the access but I have all my firewall, pop up blockers and virus protection stuff turned off!
The thing I cant understand is that it worked fine on the demo, but stopped when I paid for the full version? Can anyone help.

Freedb never has any restrictions. Also check if you are using a Proxy server to access the internet.

Where could this proxy server come from? I never had it while I ran the demo and I dont think I have it now. As for freedb being free, yes that is true but does not change the fact that AMG and MusicBrainz still does not work.

How do you access the internet? What Spoon could be suggesting is that some connections send internet traffic though proxy servers and they can cause problems.

Thanks for all your help. Iam just running windows explorer accessing the net through a net netgear wireless router, nothing else is running(i.e fire wall, stopzilla .popup protector and so on.) Again at the risk of sounding like an old bore, why did it work with exactly the same settings i had one moment and then decide not to work with exactly the same settings as i had before? Can proxy servers do that?
