How to unlock dbpoweramp

Hi,
I just purchased a license for dbpoweramp and would like to activate my copy. I already put a lot of time and effort into the configuration and want to keep it of course. It seems impossible to simply activate my installation by entering a license key - what will happen to my settings if I install the paid version over the trial version?

Nothing will happen to the settings, you install the registered version over the trial version.
