Tags show in db but not Zen or Windows

I just started experimenting with exact lossless rippers, and I like the way that db works, but when I copied the wav files to my Zen, it doesn't see them, and I also notice that Windows Explorer shows no tag information -- but if I right-click on one of the wav files and select db's Edit ID-tag, I see tons of info.

I do not pretend to understand tags at all -- what do I need to do so the lovely wavs that db produces have tag info recognizable by my Zen? (FYI, the wavs produced by e.g. EAC have tags comprehensible by the Zen.)

Another clue, perhaps: if I use db to convert a wav to wma lossless, tag info shows up in Windows and the Zen sees it -- however, the Zen won't play wma lossless. So, I need to stick with wav.

    Thanks!

Ooops -- I thought that was true, but I just reinstalled EAC, cDex, and foobar, and tried them again, and none seems to put tags in the wavs at all (not even the semi-invisible tags that db puts in).

Ah -- another thread on a different topic actually explained my problem, I think, which is that the tags currently usable for wavs are not recognized by Windows or my Zen player, which means there is no lossless format actually usable on the Zen. Drat.
