    Monkeys audio problem!

Hi, i am new to the forum! Downloaded the lastest version yesterday and all the latest codecs and upgraded to reference. Ripped a cd this morning using Mp3 lame with no problems and file plays in db player. I then tried to rip the same CD using the monkeys lossles codec, File converted no problem but when i go to the destination and try and open it in the player it says that it does not recognize and would i like to open with ....list of programms! or go to the internet to find a programme to associate file with.
I have tried 3 times with the same result... when i check the ID tags on the file everything is there! Can anyone help?

The audio player (dAP) uses older codecs to Music Converter, so you have to install dAP first with codecs from 'legacy codec central' in a different folder to music converter.
