I'm in the research stage of figuring out how to rip my CD collection for streaming to my hi-fi system. Seems like you're making it easy for me (along with readytoplay). My streamer of choice is Slim Devices Transporter (I see you mentioned SqueezeBox, but I want something more). I spoke with Osama at their tech support and he basically told me that they don't currently support their Slimserver software on Windows Home Server. I'm REALLY interested in your RipNAS solution, but with WHS, do you know of any successful and, hopefully, supportable Slimserver installations? Osama told me that he heard that it has been done, even pre-installed on NetGear's ReadyNAS, but Slim Devices didn't have anything to do with either.
Given that, do you think that RipNAS will work for me or should I just go with dBpoweramp Reference R13 with a TEAC USB drive for use on my dedicated VISTA PC?
