I'm new to this and in need of education. I am converting my CDs to FLAC using this (dBpoweramp) software. I need two things from y'all:
1. link to web-site that best explains tag editing language for FLAC files (Vorbis Comments, I believe it is called). I need something that really breaks down the system into its smallest logical components, then shows how that system is rebuilt. I need something akin to the Naming Scheme tutorial for r12/r13 thread in this forum. Should this thread hold the answers to my questions, I apologize for my ignorance, but I need something a bit more fundamental and expansive in its explanation.
2. Suggestion for tag editor utility: for instance, does MP3 Tag Editor offer any advantages over Tag&Rename? Mp3tag and The GodFather are two other utilities I was exploring. Is one tag editor commonly accepted as superior for tagging flac files?
For me, most important is understanding what I am doing. Doing it comes second. Right now I lack understanding.
