I need to rant, it seems some Eastern Europeans have sent many 10,000's of emails, with the return address of a valid dbpoweramp email (looking at the IP addresses of the outgoing messages, it seems they have some major bot net doing the sending), that means we are getting 1,000's of bounces every hour, just so they can sell come cr*ppy viagra pills.

Re: Spammers!
I know this is probably little consolation but I have received spam from registered users on three other forums. One was anti-oxidants, one was retrieving money from the Ivory Coast and the third was spreading the word of a deity. The users were banned pretty promptly, which was just as well in the first case, it saved me from saying something that would have gotten me banned.
It really sucks that even these spaces are not immune from the spammers.:vmad:Comment

Re: Spammers!
I do IT at my company, and this is an increasing problem. Like you, some days we've gotten tens-of-thousands of these bounce messages when the zombie networks spew their garbage. I've managed to write rules on the firewall to block most of them from hitting users' inboxes, but they're still pounding our connection.
Grrrr....
