    CD audio ripping?

I am curious as to how far you can rip a CD? Can you pull it apart, for example, and put it in an audio studio and remix it, cut it, mute tracks etc. I down loaded the ripping software + power packs but nothing like this is included. It may not be possible for all I know.

In the power packs, where is the kareoke function?

    thanks......scott

For most editing convert it to a wave file and then use a propper editor (I like 'SoundEngine' which is free).

To get the Kareoke, do a 'Rip with options' from the menu next to Rip, the lcik 'DSP Effects'

      not so good

thanks spoon for your help, but the voice eliminator seems to only remove about 20 % of the vocal. I tried many different cds, the same result. Is this the best I can expect? Or are there technical suggestions?

      thanks again.........scott

Pretty much so, it relies on how the CD was mastered. For some cds it will work very well, for others not so well.
