My Notebook computer is only ripping at x5 and I need a much faster drive. Because it's a notebook I need an external USB unit. It's only for ripping CDs and I need c2 error support of course. Any reccomendations of models available in shops today? Anyone using the Plextor PX-608CU unit? if so how fast does it rip and are c2 errors ok. Many thanks....

Re: Plextor PX-608CU or other USB drive
Ah gee I just bought a Freecom WriteMaster External USB DVD RW Recorder drive from PC World and that didn't work. Have to take that back to the shop. And neither of my internal laptop drives in my Sony Machines work. What a pain in the backside. -
