Goal=FLAC->itunes

I'm a newbie w/ a sometimes slow learning curve using Mac OSX 10.4.7.

I need to convert FLAC to highest quality playable in itunes. I'd like to use Apple Lossless. dbpoweramp was suggested to me. what are the things I need to get to make my dreams come true?

dBpoweramp is for Windows only.

dbpoweramp is officially only for windows, but was run succesfully under linux too. the difference is that there is much less support for linux, meaning there is less chanse we know whats wrong if it didn;t work from first try. I hope you understand.

dMC worked under Wine in Linux, so if you have Wine (Windows emulator) in OSX (which is a unix system), then you should be able to use it... search around the forum for instructions on setting up dmc under linux. but first check if you have the software under OSX.
