Suggestion: 11.5 and 12 specific forum areas

Spoon et. al.,

It is getting a bit confusing to figure out what applies to what wrt R11.5 and R12 in the forums. For example, I would like to get a couple of utility Codecs from Codec Central but I am not sure if they work with R12 (I have seen conflicting info). Just a suggestion.

Nothing in Codec Central will work with dMC r12 currently. This will be fixed soon. In some threads, Spoon has posted links to new, dMC r12 compliant utility codecs.

As for the forum, after the main webpage is updated to reflect r12, users using r11.5 will probably be first recommended to try r12 unless they need Aux Input, Sveta, or dCW.

Update: Codec Central has been updated to the new r12 codecs, and there is a link to the legacy codec central for dMC r11.5 and earlier. There is also a work-around for Sveta, dCW, and Aux Input.
