I'm not sure if I am in the right forum or not, but I just purchased a Sony Psyc and I tried downloading some music from windows media player and it doesn't play. I read somewhere that I need convert the songs to Atrac or Atrac3, but I don't know how to do that. Can anyone help me with this?

Use the software that came with the player. If you downloaded songs from a service such as Napster or Urge or another online store where you pay per-track or a subscription, your player must specifically support this, normally indicated by a "Plays For Sure" logo.
