WMP Lossless to mp3 convert vs. copy

Yeah, I'm new to this and my questions may sound a bit lame but I need to get this done. First of all I was threaded over from the Neuros forum which is what I've got, a NeurosII MPC player. Unfortunatly it won't play WMP Lossless files .
I've got roughly 200gig of music files on an ext. hard drive that I would very much like to not necessarily convert but rather copy to the neuros sync manager software program in mp3 format.
I guess what I'm really trying to ask here is... am I going to have to convert to a seperate file and then copy. Or can I stipulate a conversion in the "copying" process of folders I choose.

Re: WMP Lossless to mp3 convert vs. copy

If Sveta supports your player, you can convert on-the-fly from WMA lossless to mp3 on your player with no intermediate steps. Otherwise, you will have to convert to mp3 and then transfer the song.

There is a free 30-day trial for both Sveta and dMC's mp3 encoding and PowerPack. You will probably have to use either the WDM driver if your device works with WMP or the Removable Device driver for Sveta and see if either works.
