mp3 - wave

When I try to convert an .mp3 file(21.9KB) to .wave<16Bit (CD); 8000Hz; 1 'Mono'> I get a message saying "The file 'C:\Converted Music\FPS Doug - Boom Headshot.mp3' could not be opened."

Has anyone else had this problem before that can tell me what to do?

or if anyone can someone convert it for me using<16Bit (CD); 8000Hz; 1 'Mono'>. I'll be soo greatfull :komisch9:

Are you using dMC r11.5?

Are you converting to a compressed or uncompressed WAV?

I'm using dMC r11.5

The Compressed: is unchecked?!? I'm Converting File to a:
wave; 16 Bit (CD); 8000 Hz; 1'Mono'
Thats when I get that message even when I try Compressing it.

It plays fine as a mp3 and everything else Converts fine. It's jsut this one small file thats kicking my ass.

I have some good news and some bad news.
The bad news is, I cannot get dMC to even Test Convert your file, which means you cannot decode it directly.

The good news is, I managed to decode the file using the dMC r12 alpha. Note that the program is still in alpha and supports very few codecs at the moment. The details of what is and is not supported is on the download post. The link is below in my signature.

As long as I can still convert mp3's to wave. I'm only going to be using it for just that. THX for your help.. well I'm off to play Counter-Strike to piss poeple off :komisch12
