    Help with RCA Lyra 2840

    Hi there,

I've been happily using my RCA Lyra until I accidentally put the wrong chrager in (stupid I know but I was tired) ... now the thing is making whack noises and won't start up ... The hard-drive would be ok though I hope ?

Any ideas on a remedy would be greatly appreciated !

    Cheers,

    -Aidan

Moved to Spoon's Forum (off topic) as this is unrelated to any Illustrate product.

Well, you might have blown a fuse in the unit, or damaged the unit itself. The HDD may or may not be fine. The only way to test is to disassemble the unit and hook the HDD into a computer. However, the HDD is probably formatted in a way that is not readable by a computer.
