Convert MP3 to AACplus For Streaming

Package contains everything needed (freeware programs/codecs/instructions 4.2MB)to convert almost any format (with additional codec downloads) to the new AACplus. Convert your MP3s to one quarter their size for streaming audio. Great sounds at very small file sizes.

So what can this do that oddcast/shoutcast can't do live?

What can it do that dBpowerAMP can't do?

I guess I just don't get the purpose of this utility.

Re: Convert MP3 to AACplus For Streaming

dbPoweramp AAC codec can only encode to the older AAC, this package takes it one step further to the new AACPlus format (which is a smaller file at the same sound quality). Winamp at the moment can only rip (CD (CDA) to AACPlus (AAC+)) not convert your existing MP3 to AACPlus. And Orban wants money for their encoder that can convert from MP3 to AACPlus. But by using the set of freeware above and following the instructions you can achieve direct MP3 to AACPlus (128KB MP3 = 64K AACPlus sound quality). 64K AACPlus has better sound quality and less artifacts than 64K WMA. AACPlus portable players will soon replace MP3 players (or will play both). AACPlus players will be able to hold twice as many songs at the same sound quality as MP3 players. So hold off buying outdated MP3 players because AACPlus players are on their way. Get the package www.geocities.com/mp3toaacplus , convert a MP3 to 64K AACPlus, 64K MP3, 64K MP3PRO and 64K WMA and listen to the highs and artifacts...AACPlus will blow your mind. You'll ask yourself "How do they get such high quality sound in such a small file?" And they aren't done yet AACPlus version 2 (AAC+ v.2) is on it's way. An even smaller file size at the same sound quality. MP3 is obsolete now, there's a new kid in town, and his name is AACPlus.
