convert vlc video

can any 1tell me if there is a codec that will convert a vlc video file so it can be burned to dvd??

dMC doesn't do video.
Also, a "vlc" video file just means that the vlc player plays it. You need to figure out the extension and encoding of your file in order to figure out how to burn it to a DVD.
