I wasn't aware there was a WMA 10 standard. Is it being introduced with WMP 11?

I hear wmp11 beta has wma10+ and wma10pro .. and the m$ vc-1 codec.
I don't have any of it yet, so I can't say for sure.

WMP11 contains:

Windows Media Audio 9.2 CBR (this is little better quality like 9.1 version)
Windows Media Audio 9.2 VBR (this is little better quality like 9.1 version)
Windows Media Audio 10 Professional CBR (new codec and new quality - at 64 Kb/s very very good quality sound!)
but this codec is not full compatybile with older players - when you do not have WM11 run time in the system and playing song encodec in WMA10Pro then you hear 22 KHz sound (something like mp3Pro played on normal mp3 decoder)

WM10Pro gives very good quality at 48 Kb/s, fantastic at 64 Kb/s
