    Trying to Download a File

Hi, i'm currently downloading a file from a website that lets people upload their files. Many peoplesay that that website lets you download faster. The problem is that it takes a really long time to download it from my computer. And if i have to switch of the computer, i can't continue the download- i'll have to restart the download alova again.
You know when you download a file, there's a pic of earth and a file and a paper in between them flying? I've noticed that if i minimize the download window and open it again, i'll have to wait for a while before the paper appears again. If i don't minimize it, the paper continues to fly.

What is the problem and how can i get it to download faster?

Re: Trying to Download a File

It cannot download any fater than your internet conenction allows it to. It's possible that server is slow or down or has blocked downloads, so you may be waiting forever.

But check your firewall, it may be blocking your download as well.

Uh, are you talking about the GIF animation that Microsoft puts into your Internet Explorer download window? That can't change anything.. Unless I misread the question.
