Help making a sound adapter driver
I would like to write my own device driver to use my onboard AC97 sound adapter to aquire samples of data from the line input. I intend to use a BASIC compiler using peeks and pokes to access the hardware but I have no register maps to guide me and I suspect the manufacturers will be no help here because they do not want common man to do any programming.
I know this means making a general purpose encoder decoder which is not normally found on the internet. Any help here is appreciated.
