Coding for MP3pro codec

I am a bit beyond novice with VB6, but I desire to provide for an mp3pro codec as a conversion option in dB. I have Musicmatch with the mp3pro codec.

Are there any examples I can look at to get a sense of what I need to do?

I would like to have stereo conversion possible at lower bitrates, which is not available in Musicmatch.

It would not be an easy task, you would have to find how MusicMatch talks to its compression dll, then emulate it, and even then it would only encod at a lower bitrate if there was that option in the dll.
