    Converting long tracks

    Hi everyone,
sorry if this is the wrong subsection of the forum.
I have encountered a strange problem while trying to convert a WMA track to MP3: the converted track has a length of ~30 minutes while the original file has a length of more than one hour. Has anybody encountered the same issue ? I am using R12.4 with Lame.

Make sure you have no DSP effects (such as Maximum length), plus also try playing the WMA file to the end, it might be only part downloaded.

No DSP effects are activated. The WMA file is not corrupted. Actually, I encountered this problem with several long WMA tracks.
I am using dMC R12.4 with Lame 3.97 and WMA Pro 9 R1

          Try using WMA 10.

            Hi there !
Any news on this bug ? Today I encountered it again. Tried to use R13.1 + Lame 3.98 + WMA 9, and very long files are still trimmed 1 or 2 minutes before the actual end of the file.

            Try using WMA 10.
The WMA files I am trying to convert to MP3 have been converted from WAV using WMA 9. That's why I don't think this has anything to do with WMA9/10.

IF you play the mp3 files they are cut short or is the shown length of the mp3 jsut shown shorter?

Some of them. I haven't been able to distinguish a pattern among the trimmed files...
