MMC plug-in?

Is there anyway provided for developers to create plug-ins for mmc?

I'd like to add somethin gto the collection menu to cycle through mmc and create myself a tag database for use on iRiver H100 series players, also probably would like to create a rockbox db too.

It would be great to code something to add in to mmc, cos without that it means I'd have to create my own application similar to mmc to create the db from.....

any ideas?

MMC is not extendable.

ok - thanks - that's a shame though, I'd rather not have to use additional software to manage my dap and music collection

sorry but I may write my own mmc type application so I can build these features into it!
