When adding songs from several different albums to a project the program will add all the songs a second time. If you attempt to delete the extra additional songs and then add more only those added are actually burned although the program still shows everything.

So it duplicates identical tracks, and when you delete one it deletes both?Comment

Re: Bug in writer 2 using windows XP SP2
Spoon,
I'll have to agree with that bug.
I added a folder (all) to CDWriter. The folder had 139 songs totaling 553 MB.
After songs were added, it showed a 400(+) MB Overburn and each song was
duplicated. Removing a single track did not delete both occurances of the
track.
In addition, the conversion process from adding to having it appear as a track
is about 10 times slower (a guess, maybe more time required) that the previous
version...

Every song was duplicated by just adding them once? or you added them twice?Comment

Re: Bug in writer 2 using windows XP SP2
OK, I opened the cd writer, went to the folder where the music was located,
i opened the folder and all the songs were displayed in the cd writer window.
I then clicked the Add button (arrow) once and got the small window that ask
me if i wanted to add all the music, i answered yes. After a time (20/25
minutes) all the tracks had been added. I scanned the tracks list from top to
bottom, half way down, the first song was repeated and every song after
that was also repeated in sequence with the top half of the tracks list.
Its as though the program made 2 complete passes through the folder.
I dropped back to the previous version and no problem.
During the installation of the new version, the uninstall (old version) and
install (new version) went smooth as silk.
