    old radio shows

I have a collection of old radio shows (talk - NOT music) in mp3 format. One of them is about 85 minutes long, yet only takes about 35MB in mp3 format. I would like to listen to these on my car CD player. The sampling rate to create these files was 22K (instead of 44K). They are also monophonic. Is it possible to burn a CD (for my car) which will hold 4 times the length of broadcasts? If so, how?
    Thanks, MIchael

i think most cd's are only 80 min's. you could make 2 cd's. but you would need to split the file if it's one file. some people use cool edit to do this. but do a search for a mp3 splitter.

the size of the file won't matter. if it's 85 min's then that will never change. unless your car cd player can play mp3's of course.

here is another programe that might work too: http://www.homepages.hetnet.nl/~mjmlooijmans/cdwave/
