control over where temporary files are placed

I wanted to make a cd out of my flac format ripped cd's to later burn to an actual disc, but I cannot find where the files are, cd writer converted them, but I would like them to be on my external hard drive so I can burn them to actual discs at a later date.

Edit; I found the create cd function, but when I go into to the folder to where I wanted it to be saved on my external hard drive, there was nothing there, at nothing that I could see.

    Have a look in %appdata%\dbpoweramp\dBpoweramp-CDWriterTmp

Where do I go & look for these files in windows? I dont know where the app data is, is it in program files? where exactly in the windows directory do I find the files?

I also noticed one can do a convert to audio cd through the batch converter & I see the output location/dynamics etc options are greyed out, so does this mean one cannot decide on where the files are placed?
