I too have the "no CD writers found" issue.
I did the Windows XP compatibility mode fix, which hasn't worked. To add insult to injury I cannot now change the compatibility mode at all as it is has become greyed-out.
I also have the very slow encoding speed issue mentioned here:
using normal FLAC files, normal everything.
Also it doesn't use both cores of a dual-core processor, which dMC does.
I have just bought a new PC with Windows 7. I never had any of these problems on my old XP machine.
