In a post dated 2004 a reply indicated multiple audio sessions were possible when burning a disc. The procedure was somewhat sketchy and refers to an advanced help file which i can't find. The window that appears just before burning has a check box for turning finalization on/off but it is grayed out. Also i don't see any other place to set this option. Can any one give me some advise

Re: CD Multiple Sessions
If Finalization is switched off then the disc is the wrong type to be adding a 2nd session to (and only DataCDs can have 2nd sessions). -
Re: CD Multiple Sessions
I appreciate your prompt reply, but i am not sure it is correct. From what i can determine the disk type has nothing to do with it (Audio vs Data). Its a matter of the burner supporting "track At Once = TAO" and/or "disc at once = DAO". Adaptec's EZ CD Creator software has 3 options for TAO. See the following site:

The main difference between audio and data disc is the quality of the media somewhat better for audio disks.
You may want to consider this type of option for people streaming music at different times and locations.
All of that aside if i use a data disc as you suggest does the burner support sessions and track at once or only sessions.Comment
