No CD Writers Found - Please Help

I have read all FAQs I can find related to this problem, and none seem to help. I am running Windows 7 Pro on a 64bit dual core Intel system. I have changed compatibility mode to XP SP2 and SP3 and it doesn't help. I have uninstalled and reinstalled CD Writer to no avail. I bought this program because Nero was junk and I thought this would be a much better approach to Audio CD/DVD creation. Can someone please help me determine if my problem can be resolved or do I need to try to get a refund for my upgrade?

Do you have a blu-ray drive?

No Blu-Ray drive Spoon. CD/DVD writer only. Running on a Toshiba laptop. What's so strange to me is that the CD Ripper recognizes the drive just fine.

CD Ripper normally would, but CD Writer is different, if it is not detecting the drive there is little we can do to help.

You can try different CD Writers.
