Two Drives In CD Ripper, Only One in CD Writer?

I have two drives in my system, and LG DVD/CD combo unit and a Lite-On CD RW drive. Both drives are visible and usable in CD Ripper, but only the LG combo drive shows up in CD Writer. The Lite-On is my preferred drive to use, why can't I see it? The model is an LTN-4891S, help me Mister Wizard....

Is the Lite-On an IDE or SATA drive? What version of dMC and Windows are you using?

Both drives are IDE drives, and I just downloaded the latest upgrades to the Ripper and Writer earlier today. I'm running Vista, and I don't see anywhere in the Converter, Ripper or Writer programs where I can check the Release levels.

Converter = 13.1
Writer = 3.1

Both drives seen and accessible in Vista....

Do other CD Writing programs see the Lite-On as a burner drive?
