How does a retail CD transfer information to my audio player when the information is in CDA format?
How is it possible?

Re: How is it possible?
If what is called "CD-Text" is written on the CD, most players can read that data and get the artist, album name, title, etc.Lt. Data

Re: How is it possible?
Can someone suggest an alternative program (besides CD Writer) that I can switch to that will provide this feature when creating CDs?
I like to use my burned CDs in CD players, and it's nice to know what the title of the song is.
I don't really see any advantage by using CD Writer unless I'm into MP3s.Comment

Re: How is it possible?
I know Nero will do this, as long as the files has tags it can read and you tell it to write CD text, which is a simple check box.Lt. Data
