    Newbie with newbie question

I just purchased Reference 13 and convertered some flac files for burning (moved them from the right to left side).
According to DBPoweramp the files have ID tags on my hard drive (Vorbis Comments), but not on the burned disk.
When I play the disk with Windows Media Player, the album, artist and track information is unknown.
    What should I do?

Audio CDs do not have ID Tags, they can have CD-Text if your writer is CD Text compatible, but dBpoweramp cannot write CD Text, also Windows Media Player will not read CD Text by default.

      Ok, got that.
      What's up with this?
I explore the disc with windows explorer. I point to the .cda files and I get a dbpoweramp popup showing some information, but not album, artist or track information.
I right mouse click and edit ID-Tag, every field is blank.
I'm getting the message there isn't any ID tag info with .cda files.
When I play the disc with ANY player on my work station, tag information does not show up.
I'm getting the message there isn't any ID tag info with .cda files.
I put the disc in my Pioneer AVIC Z1 (in my car) and all tag information is there. Note, my Z1 has gracenote installed.
Now I'm starting to get confuzed again!

Let's say that there REALLY isn't tag information in .cda files. Can CD Writer burn discs in some other format (I'm not interested in MP3 because I want to avoid lossy compression whenever possible), perhaps a format that is more compatable with cd players? :headbang:
