I burned mp3s that I bought from amazon.com to an audio CD, and there are parts that skip. At least 4 songs had a skip at the same time in each. It was clearly written (or converted) this way and not the Car CD Player since no other CD has this problem. Another thing I noticed is that CD Writer wants control of the entire computer, where I cannot do anything else. I burned CDs from amazon.com mp3s with Windows Media Player and had no problems. I use Vista Ultimate 64 with 4 gigs, and I like to multitask if possible.

I've just burned a standard CD with CD Writer for the first time - a couple of dozen tracks, all from mp3s encoded at highest quality using dBpoweramp with the Fraunhofer encoder. On pretty well every track on the burned CD, playback jumps forward a few beats every ten seconds or so, making the CD effectively unlistenable. It
