    No complete track

    Dear Sirs,
I aapologise in advance if Youi have alredy treated this matter in some way but Im a newbie in audio problems.
What I'm trying to accomplish is to preserve the name of the files in my compilation.
I try to explain in a better way: I have a list of mp3 files all with ID tag like for Example John Doe Concertos.mp3. When I convert this track to a .cda files it ends ups track01.cda or track 02.cda and so on. Is it possible to solve this problem? Ina more simple way I'd like that the file will be converted into John Doe Concertos.cda. I've tried to build acue sheet wth all the tracks and then burn this .cue files with Nero but I have not solved the problem. What else can I try?
    Regards
    Andrea Orsini

    Re: No complete track

The only real way to do this is to burn what is called "CD-Text" to the CD. However, tracks will always show up as "Track01.cda" in a file listing, as this is the standard for audio CDs. If you burn CD-Text, though, supported players should show the artist and song title data in the player.

      Thanks for your prompt answers
and forgive my next silly question:

Cd text what does it mean ? Is perhps related to the .cue file I mentioned earlier so I have to burn an image or is it something completely different?
Woululd you like to clarify this matter alittle bit?
And does your software support Cd text?
      Thanks in advance

        Re: No complete track

No, dBpowerAMP CD Writer does not currently support writing CD-Text.

dMC does support reading CD-Text, though. See her for more information on CD Text: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CD-TEXT

I believe you have to explicitly enable the feature in Nero, check Nero's help files for more info on this.
