Batch Ripper and Nimbie USB+ on Windows 11

Okay Spoon, another newbie question and I should be able to find my way forward. I'm working an archival project and I'm looking at 20+ years of CD's. When I load a stack of CD's in the nimbie, I get a very high rejection rate about 40% of the discs are rejected. These are master discs that we use to duplicate CD's. The discs are not physically damaged, scratched, or dirty. Could this another dbpoweramp setting that I have overlooked? Thanks in advance!Leave a comment:

Thank you Spoon! That did it.
One more question if I may - is it normal for the drive inside Nimbie to open/close and then open again before the loading mechanism is activated? In other words, when I'm proceeding through a batch this is what happens:
curent rip ends
tray opens, mechanism gets disc, tray closes
disc is ejected
tray opens
(no disc is loaded)
tray closes
tray opens again
(disc loaded)
tray closes
rip happens
wondering if the extra cycle of tray closing empty and reopening is normal...

Open batch ripper, click 'Edit' next to profile to access CD ripper, just to edit settings.Leave a comment:

Sorry to hijack this thread - my configuration issue is that when batch ripping, the location of the resulting files is not what I have configured in dbPoweramp. They end up in the default Windows "Music" library. If I rip manually, running dbPoweramp directly, the configured location is honored. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks!Leave a comment:

As you have likely figured out, there is an option to not reject if there is no metadata.
What would the filename be?Leave a comment:

Thanks for the suggestion but Batch Ripper rejects the disc with the message No Meta Data. Sorry for the repeated questions but I'm new to this. Thanks in advance!
I figured it out. One last question...Is there a way to dynamically create a file name for each disc in the batch?Last edited by gmookc; April 20, 2024, 04:49 PM.Leave a comment:

Yes if you set naming to [batchid]\[track] to create unique filenames.Leave a comment:

In Batch Ripper click Edit next to the profile, it shows CD Ripper, where you change settings then close the program.Leave a comment:

Ok, uninstalled everything then reinstalled. It's working but not ripping in the format I would like nor is it ending up on my external drive. Sorry, I wish I was a little more technically savvy. I feel like I'm getting really close though!Leave a comment:

You have to install Batch Ripper first, then install the Nimbie driver to the same location.Leave a comment:
