Hi Folks I have a simple MF Digital Baxter Ripper which is about 10 years old. I am trying to get it set to work in Win 10 64 bit. Does anyone know anything about this in terms of drivers, etc? Do I have to run an XP Virtual machine to do this? Thanks, Marcus

Re: MF Digital Baxter
Glad I Google this device. Pretty cool looking.
While I was on their site, I did find this link: https://www.mfdigital.com/legacydownloads.html
Sorry I can't be of more help. There are lots of other smart people here . . . someone will know. -

Re: MF Digital Baxter
I was able to get the Discmakers Pico (99.99% the same as the MF Digital Baxter) to work in Windows 7. The same method would probably work with Windows 10 64 bit. Take a look at what I did on this thread: https://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthr...l=1*post184001Comment

Re: MF Digital Baxter
I actually just got my old one up and running again today.
I grabbed the "ACAL_DriverInstall_v1.1.3" zip file from Acronova. Unzipped it, opened up the INF file, and added the following:
Under [Acronova.NTx86]:
%USB\VID_1717&PID_0101.DeviceDesc%=BREADUSB.Dev_x8 6, USB\VID_1717&PID_0101
Under [Acronova.NTamd64]:
%USB\VID_1717&PID_0101.DeviceDesc%=BREADUSB.Dev_x6 4, USB\VID_1717&PID_0101
Under [Strings]:
USB\VID_1717&PID_0101.DeviceDesc="DupliQ"
Save the file.
Then, you need to tell Windows to ignore driver file signatures:
Select the "Start" button.
Type "startup".
Select "Change advanced startup settings".
Select "Restart now" under the "Advanced startup" area.
Select "Troubleshoot".
Select "Advanced Options".
Select "Startup Options".
Select "Restart".
A menu will appear where you can press "7" on your keyboard to choose "Disable driver signing enforcement".
Let the reboot finish, attach the unit, install the driver, and you should be good to go...Last edited by CJeffB; August 10, 2020, 12:12 AM.Comment
