Nimbie Disk Reject Not Working

I've recently migrated to a win10 machine.

It is mostly working and behaving like the win7 install it is replacing.

One thing that is different, the Win7 installation rejects discs with insecure rips out the bottom of the machine. On the Win10 set up, insecure rip discs eject out the front into the successfully ripped tray.

I cannot figure out why this is happening or find a settings to change it.

any ideas how to solve this?

In batch ripper configuration, configure the nimbie and try a test reject.

load.exe is working.

Both unload.exe and reject.exe are not. They both open the tray and I hear the disc being lifted out of the tray by the nimbie. The tray does not close and the disc does not drop on either command.

When I test load.exe, it drops the disc out the front and loads a cd fine.

I've checked and have what I think are the latest nimbie drivers, 1.1.2.1 created date of 5/31/2016 10:53am.

QQGettray is working fine, loading, unloading, and reject.

Attached are the results of my testing. Paths are correct. both unload and reject say "(not responding)" for a bit before saying complete. Neither is dropping the disc or closing the tray.

Which security software do you have?

MS Security Essentials, or I guess it might be call Defender in win10. It is the MS win10 built in security.

Perhaps try different USB ports.
