MF Digital Ripstation 7601XD

I see some threads on here that state that "Spoon" has a driver to get dBpoweramp to work with the MF Digital 7601XD robot.

BUT

I have a MAC, and not a PC

So the question is - can I run
dBpoweramp on am MacBook (Mojave)
Batch Ripper
and use the 7691XD robot

or should I just plan to ALSO buy a Acronova Nimbie ($569)

None of our automated ripping programs run on the mac.

So I guess its a dedicated PC box then....
